Acorn Recruitment today hosted another hugely successful Network Espresso networking morning, held at the Hotel Du Vin in Tunbridge Wells. Network Espresso is the free networking event held by Acorn Recruitment every month, which brings together like-minded local business people from a wide range of industries and backgrounds in a friendly, professional environment.
Despite the pouring rain outside, the room at the Hotel Du Vin was filled with over forty people from the Tunbridge Wells area, who enjoyed coffee and pastries and the opportunity to chat and exchange business cards.
Attendees enjoyed an informative yet fun presentation on the law surrounding interview questions, presented by Rhiannon Winn and Jeff Wheeler, both recruitment consultants at Acorn Recruitment. The pair, who have over twenty five years recruitment experience between them, shared their expertise on the legalities surrounding recruitment by conducting a short role play interview, which highlighted legal and illegal interview questions that recruiters often ask. The presentation sparked an interesting debate and attendees were given the opportunity to ask Acorn's recruitment consultants for advice in this area.
The August Network Espresso in Tunbridge Wells was the most successful to date, and highlights Acorn's commitment to building strong professional relationships within the local business community. Acorn is now looking forward to its Sevenoaks Network Espresso scheduled for the 18th August 2008 and encourages any of its clients hoping to attend to contact us via the email address below.
We would like to thank all of those who attended and encourage any client of Acorn that is interested in attending the September Network Espresso, either in Tunbridge Wells or Sevenoaks, to contact bryony@acornrecruitment.com to be added to our Network Espresso mailing list.
